During my 3D Design course I was able to complete a wooden workshop project, which required me to make designs out of wood. My first design was a retractable bridge, inspired by Thomas Heatherwick's Rolling Bridge. In the second half of this project, I made a wooden chain link out of a single block of wood, which required extreme patience and detail. Below is presented the design page along with the building stages of the project.

The second half of the project, was assigned for us to make a functional and aesthetically pleasing wooden toy. I designed this intricate two piece chain that would be made out of a single block of wood. The inspiration came from the linkage of chains and hooks.
